Overview of the course structure
This eLearning module was part of the course “Introduction to Interpreting Skill Set (Australian Indigenous languages)” at TAFESA.

This course is an interactive glossary of the human anatomy and hospital terms. It includes the most common terminology used in the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in South Australia.

Modality: asynchronous online module embedded in the LMS as part of different activities or learning artefacts provided to students.

Learning Outcomes

• To get students familiar with vocabulary related to the human anatomy and the most common health conditions within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander in South Australia.
• To get students familiar with the different specialist areas and equipment that can be found in a hospital.
• To help students build their own glossary of terms related to human anatomy and health care sector.
• To show students how to pronounce terms related to human anatomy and health care sector.

Module 2: covers the most common areas, relevant specialists and equipment that can be found in hospitals.
